I found a Bat .... (19.11.2009)

Actually I was having class that day, my macroeconomics class. The class finish at 5pm, then I walk to the carpark which is located infront of the school. Then I saw a death bat infront my car, so i bring it to the another side of the car, where there is a rock.... Theni snap snap the bat...hahaha... Never see a bat this close... When we talks about bat, we think of Vampire....kekeke
And I also just realie that, the bat actually very similar to a mouse, they also got a pair of big ears like mouse... Even before this peoles says, bat are also look like a mouse, but i didn't see it close... So just have only a perception, now i saw it...hahahaha~
But how much we understand about bat...hahaha... Below are some information about Bat:
  • Bats are mammals. Sometimes they are mistakenly called "flying rodents" or "flying rats". And they can also be mistaken for insects and birds.
  • There are about 1,100 bat species worldwide, which represent about 20 percent of all classified mammal species.
  • About 70 percent of bats are insectivores. Most of the rest are frugivores, or fruit eaters. A few species feed from animals other than insects.
  • Bats are present throughout most of the world and perform vital ecological roles such as pollinating flowers and dispersing fruit seeds. Many tropical plants depend entirely on bats for the distribution of their seeds.
